Leica Akademie Italy street photography workshop (video)

Street Photography is one of the most beloved photographic genres, both from general public and photo enthusiasts. It’s simply, in its essence, the photographic tale of life and of its most intriguing, romantic, ironic and contradictory aspects.

Leica has been and still is, due to its essentiality and immediacy, the preferred tool of the photographers who made this genre legendary. That’s why the Leica Akademie Italy has decided to create a series of workshops dedicated to the “Street”, featuring Eolo Perfido, that have immediately earned a remarkable success, and keep on being brought up in the most important Italian towns. it is….but I’m not so sure about the 1200 iso though.

With the M240 I have absolutely no problem going as high as ISO 6400. Coming from a Nikon D600, I was surprised how good the Leica performs at high ISO in practical shooting conditions (the D600 is only a tad better). Now I understand when Canon guys tell you not to believe everything from DXOMark.

I stand corrected, having never shot with a M240.

Was gonna say that actually. The CMOS in the M240 is very different in noise performance from their CCD sensor cameras. I wouldn’t push it either that high.
