The upcoming Leica M Monochrom Typ 246 camera to have a new 24MP CMOS sensor?

I am not sure about the authenticity of the picture above that is floating on the Internet, but I think we can be pretty sure that the upcoming Leica M Monochrom Typ 246 camera will have a 24MP CMOS sensor (the current model has a 18MP CCD sensor).

Leica will have a new product “on display” during the Paris Photo event in LA

According to Leica’s website, during the Paris Photo fair in LA (May 1-3, 2015) there will be a “new product” on display. If this is the new Monochrom (I seriously doubt it), the camera will be only on display – the official announcement will most likely happen later.
