“Rage Against The Light” new book by Markus Andersen

My name is Markus Andersen, I am a Sydney, Australia based fine art photographer who uses Leica gear. My work, art practice and use of Leica gear was featured in a short documentary called "Into The Belly of The Beast”. I now have my first published book called “Rage Against The Light” on urban street / documentary photography. The book was shot on both BW film (Leica MP & M4 with 28mm f2.8/ 35mm f2 asph lenses) and digital cameras. Here a 90 second movie I created for the book - a cinematic version of shooting on the street, probably a perspective many photographers share that shoot in the urban world:

  • I totally fell in love with the sample images and had to have this book.

Beautiful. Your photographic work is great (it reminds me of Renato D’Agostin, a talented italian photographer: same “visual silence”), and the graphic work is marvellous. Lovely title, too.

  • Bo Dez
