Rumors are floating online that Leica UK may discontinue the popular 1 year Passport Warranty starting from April 1st, 2016. Leica Passport covers any damages that happen during the first year of ownership.
Update: I received a confirmation that the Passport Warranty will be canceled in the UK – it was originally setup to balance the price difference between EU and UK, now prices are more or less the same across the EU and there is no reason for it.
