Did you know that Ducati once made rangefinder cameras? (Sogno OR 6401.1)

Check out this Ducati half frame rangefinder camera (model Sogno OR 6401.1) with a Vitor 35/3.5 collapsible lens courtesy of JapanCameraHunter:

Camera history time: Did you know Ducati made cameras? Before they made bikes they made this, a tiny half frame focal plane rangefinder camera. It goes by the name OR 6401.1 Ducati Sogno, which translates to ‘Dream’. This one sports the Ducati OD 6401.1 Vitor 35/3.5 Collapsible standard lens. These beautifully crafted cameras were made during World War II and used 18mm by 24mm 35mm cartridges. According to the owner this one is in better condition than the one in the Ducati museum in Italy. It was a true honor to handle this gem. And no, it is not for sale. Next time you are in a Ducati dealership ask them if they know about Ducati cameras, I bet they don’t. #camera #camerazen #cameraporn #filmcamera #filmphotography #ducati #ducaticamera #japancamerahunter #shootfilm #buyfilm #bangkok #filmisalive #believeinfilm
