As I already reported a few months ago, the new Leica Super Vario Elmar SL 16-35mm f/3.5-4.5 ASPH lens is going to be announced in April. I believe the official release will be on or around April 9th, 2018. Shipping should start in late April. The price is expected to be between $5,000-$6,000. The weight of the lens is 1.6kg.
