Interview with Leica on the L-mount and SL camera replacement timeframe

I always find it amusing when somebody claims “I’m not rumor-mongering” and then make a video called “Leica SL2 Coming in H1 2019?” – the video is based on a Photokina interview with Stephan Schulz from Leica.

Update: the name of the video is now changed to “A Conversation with Leica’s Stefan Schultz on the L-Mount Alliance“. I also updated my post to reflect the change – watch the video and make your own conclusions on what was said about the Leica SL replacement (starting from the 12-minute mark):

I was also told that there will be a new €500 cashback on the Leica SL and €250 euro cashback on the prime SL lenses.
