Leica rumored to increase US prices on November 1st

Leica is rumored to increase US prices on November 1st by 25%. I was told that the first price increase will impact only Leica lenses. A second price increase is expected on December 1st for compact Leica cameras. This price increase is most likely triggered by the new 25% US tax on select European products:

Trump’s new 25% US tax on European products includes cameras and lenses coming from Germany – will Leica gear get more expensive in the US?

This year Leica already increase their prices in the UK and Germany.

Update: Leica TL lenses are made in Japan and will not be affected by the new tax.
