Confirmed: Leica M10 Monochrom will be released in 2020 with a new 41MP sensor

Back in August I already reported that the upcoming Leica M10 Monochrom camera will have a new 41-42MP sensor and I just received this screenshot confirming that the size of M10M photos will be 7864 x 5200 (or 40.89MP):

The new M10M is already being tested in the field and the official announcement is expected in 2020. The camera design will be identical to M10. Stay tuned for more info.

Thanks Alexander Görlitz!
