New Leica M10 Monochrom Leitz Wetzlar limited edition camera coming next week



Next week, on or around February 13, Leica is rumored to announce a new Leica M10 Monochrom Leitz Wetzlar limited edition camera and a corresponding Leica Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH FLE lens. The camera and lens will be sold separately. There will be a total of 650 cameras and 500 lenses produced. The price is rumored to be the same as the regular M10M ($8,295) and 35mm FLE ($5,895).

Here is what’s different in the Leitz Wetzlar limited edition camera and lens:

  • The camera will have a “Leitz Wetzlar” engraving on the top plate
  • The lens will have “Leitz Wetzlar” engraving on the front ring
  • The lens colors will be gray and white together with a white index dot
