New firmware updates released: Leica M11 v1.4.0.0, Leica SL2 v4.1, Leica SL2-S v3.1


Today Leica released new firmware updates for the Leica M11, Leica SL2, and Leica SL2-S cameras:

Leica M11 firmware update version 1.4.0.0:

  • NEW: New delete option Delete Multi
  • IMPROVED: Exposure metering method Highlight-weighted now works with an improved algorithm _FIXED: No more shutter delay between shots
  • FIXED: Visualization error during the use of Perspective Control remedied
  • FIXED: Bugfixes in the firmware

Leica SL2 firmware updated version 4.1:

  • FIXED: An error in the aperture control of the SL lens series APO-Summicron which leads to delays in the con- tinuous shooting speed is fixed. In this context, the firmware of the existing lenses will also be updated.

Leica SL2-S firmware updated version 3.1:

  • FIXED: An error in the aperture control of the SL lens series APO-Summicron which leads to delays in the con- tinuous shooting speed is fixed. In this context, the firmware of the existing lenses will also be updated.

Leica releases firmware updates for 10 different cameras: M10-M|M10-P|M10-R|M10-P|M10|M10-DSL2|SL2-S|Q2|Q2-M
