The best SD memory cards for the Leica M11 camera

Alik Griffin tested over two dozen SD memory cards on the Leica M11 camera and came up with this list of recommended/best memory cards:

Recommended memory cards USB write USB read Leica M11
UHS-II V90
Lexar 2000x V90 219 MB/s 256 MB/s 99 MB/s
Delkin Black v90 253 MB/s 278 MB/s 106 MB/s
Delkin Power v90 240 MB/s 275 MB/s 100 MB/s
Hoodman Steel 2000x V90 155 MB/s 249 MB/s 98 MB/s
UHS-II V60
Lexar 1800x V60 176 MB/s 242 MB/s 93 MB/s
Sony M Tough V60 155 MB/s 268 MB/s 99 MB/s
Sony E v60 142 MB/s 252 MB/s 93 MB/s
Delkin Prime v60 98 MB/s 275 MB/s 81 MB/s

The conclusion:

“If you stick with Lexar, Sony or Delkin you’ll have no issues with memory card performance. A few other brands like Hoodman Steel and Amplim were also running well in the camera, but those generally would not be my top picks unless there are some nice sales going on. Lexar, Delkin, and Sony all have great bundles with readers and are producing the best cards including CFxB, CFxA, and SD. They are the three brands I personally use the most and they have always been dependable.”
