What’s new on Kickstarter: SPINN camera strap with SWIFT-LOCK magnetic quick release plate camera carry system (made in Germany)

The German company SPINN started a new crowdfunding project: SPINN camera strap with SWIFT-LOCK magnetic quick release plate camera carry system (magnetic quick release, compatible with all major standards):

SPINN SWIFT-LOCK | camera carry, next level launched on Kickstarter by Spinn.Design

Germany – Frankfurt, Feb 27, 2024 – The product designers from WN PRODUCTS introduce a new product of their brand Spinn.Design on Kickstarter.com – the SPINN SWIFT-LOCK is a camera carrying system offering a new level of freedom when handling, carrying and shooting with a DSLR or Mirrorless camera. The system offers decisive advantages compared to any other way of camera handling.

The SWIFT-LOCK is a two-part system consisting of a quick release plate and a base plate. It offers a unique magnetic locking mechanism connecting the camera securely to the camera strap. Detaching the camera from the strap is done in no time at all by sliding the base plates locking bar – switching to a tripod or another camera is easier and safer than ever before – changing the battery or even just putting the camera aside for a moment is easy – no fiddling with the strap anymore.

The SWIFT-LOCK shifts the camera´s center of gravity from top to the bottom of the camera – so the camera rests firmly with it´s entire surface against the body – this is extremely comfortable and safe, as the camera no longer wobbles and disturbs when walking, standing, bending down or even cycling.

The SWIFT-LOCK allows to reach all camera controls more quickly without having the strap in front of the eyes or between the fingers. Reaching for the camera is intuitive and faster than ever before.

The SPINN SWIFT-LOCK system is compatible with all Peak Design products. Changing the camera from PD Capture to SWIFT-LOCK is easy. Whether using the SWIFT-LOCK quick-release plate or a Peak Design standard plate – everything works together seamlessly.

The easy length adjustability of the SPINN Adjustable Comfort Strap allows to quickly change to different carrying modes or all kinds of clothes, both in winter with a warm jacket and in summer in a T-shirt.

The rounded edges of the carbon fiber adjusters make the SPINN strap light and functional. The strap can easily be wrapped around the camera´s lens without scratching or damaging it. This makes stowing the camera in the backpack a cinch without worrying about the valuable equipment. This is not possible with any other adjustable strap. The SPINN Strap is 50% more lightweight than usual adjustable straps.

The Swiftlock system makes camera handling a breeze – both, when it comes to carrying the camera and taking pictures.
