This is a rare lens, available in limited quantities, modified from the industrial lens “Componon-S 2.8/50-0018 V-Mount Macro” made by Schneider (Germany) to M-mount. You can enjoy the smooth-moving, high-quality metal lens barrel and optical performance that meets the high standards of industrial use.
Excellent close-up shooting performance
The Componon-S 2.8/50 used in the modification is a high-resolution industrial lens used in machine vision, printed circuit board inspection, LCD and OLED display inspection, etc. While conventional lenses show a decline in optical performance as the shooting magnification increases, this lens is designed and corrected to provide high image quality at close-up shooting magnifications of 1:20 to 1:1.
High-quality telescope
Among the affiliated factories of Focus Studio (SHOTEN brand), we manufacture and customize the lens barrels at an OEM factory that is particularly renowned for its quality. The silver metal lens barrel, which stands out for its high processing precision, has a classic and sophisticated appearance along with a smooth operation feel, making it a joy to own.
Covers medium format sensors too
The image circle of the Componon-S 2.8/50 published by Schneider is 43.2mm, but it can also be used with the 44×33 medium format sensors of the Fujifilm GFX series and Hasselblad X series without worrying about vignetting.
