Mr.Ding Pactcron 35/1.8 black paint lens for Leica M-mount (based on the Leica Summicron-M 35mm f/2 version 4)

This is not a new lens, but I don’t think I have covered it here on the blog – the Mr.Ding Pactcron 35/1.8 black paint lens for Leica M-mount is based on the design of the Leica Summicron-M 35mm f/2 version 4, while incorporating the latest optical design and coating technology. Here are the details from their website:

  • Tribute to the classic: The 35/1.8 is an optimized design based on a classic lens structure, such as the Leica 35/2 (IV), with higher sharpness in the center area.
  • Lanthanide glass: A continuation of classic materials, we still use the traditional spherical design and the same lanthanide glass production methods. This classic combination can make the picture’s gray scale denser.
  • Comfortable operation: The aperture ring is set to the position of the finger in the natural grip state. With one touch, the aperture ring can be moved at will.
  •  Multi-layer coating technology: The application of multi-layer nanocoating produces an effect similar to Zeiss T* coating. The anti-glare effect is greatly improved compared with our previous product.
