New firmware updates released for the Leica SL3, SL3-S (4.2.0), and Leica SL3-P (4.2.1) cameras

Leica released new firmware updates for the Leica SL3, SL3-S, and Leica SL3-P cameras:

  • Leica SL3 firmware update version 4.2.0
  • Leica SL3-S firmware update version 4.2.0
  • Leica SL3-P firmware update version 4.2.1

Here’s what’s new:


Several improvements were also made:

  • Improved HDMI settings
  • Revised video settings selector
  • New shooting modes
  • Firmware update display
  • New “full screen mode” in Review mode
  • Optimized Leica Looks user interface
  • Lens lists
  • Optimized electronic shutter response time
  • Improved Tracking Framelines display
