Here is some more info on the Leica Store San Francisco opening:
San Francisco, CA (August 14th, 2014) Leica Camera announces the opening of the Leica Store San Francisco in partnership with Camera West of Walnut Creek and Rancho Mirage. Kicking off the launch with a private reception on August 14th and events open to the public on August 15th-17th. The store is located in San Francisco’s historical district at 463 Bush Street, across the street from the Chinatown Gate.
The space features gorgeous hardwood floors and clean design juxtaposed against the historic exposed brick walls and dark wood columns on nearly 5000 square feet. Natural light pours in through the large windows to fill the ample space provided by the double high ceilings. This beautiful and inspiring environment will serve as the backdrop for workshops, Leica Akademie classes, S-System studio, Lectures and other exciting events.
The new store is one of Leica’s continual efforts to supply the creative culture with innovative products while maintaining the essence of Leica’s 100 years of photography. The Leica Store San Francisco will become a major hub in the world of Leica and photography, and will, moreover, be a center for artistic culture and learning.
