Today Cosina announced the previously rumored Voigtlander APO-LANTHAR 35mm f/2 Aspherical VM and Voigtlander ULTRON Vintage Line 35mm f/2 Aspherical Type II VM lenses for Leica M-mount:

Voigtlander APO-LANTHAR 35mm f/2 Aspherical VM

As a quasi-wide-angle lens with the highest performance in Voigtlander history, it is an extremely high-performance lens optimized for a full-size M mount sensor. The apochromat design, which makes the RGB axial chromatic aberration that composes the three primary colors of light as close to zero as possible, thoroughly eliminates various aberrations and pursues the ultimate performance in terms of resolution and contrast reproducibility.

Voigtlander ULTRON Vintage Line 35mm f/2 Aspherical Type II VM

A wide-angle lens that combines an exterior reminiscent of the styling of a classic lens, which is considered to be a historic masterpiece, with a lens with optical performance that matches modern photography equipment. By suppressing the maximum aperture value to a practical level, both compactness and high optical performance are achieved. Demonstrate the mobility as a snap shooter, which is a characteristic of rangefinder machines.
