Additional information on the Leica Q3 firmware update version 1.2.0

As I already mentioned online, the latest Leica Q3 firmware update version 1.2.0 did not come with an actual change log indicating all the fixes and improvements. I was told that only one of the two issues described in my previous post was fixed:

  • The power-down freezes issue is now fixed.
  • The new firmware update seems to improve the start-up time.
  • The issue with the half-press preview exposure being different than what you see prior to the half-press also seems to be fixed.

The second playback mode issue where images won’t display properly and sometimes lock up the camera will be fixed in the next firmware update.
