Leica Cine 1 laser TV projector officially revealed at the 2022 IFA show

The previously announced Leica Cine 1 laser TV projector was officially revealed at the 2022 IFA show:

  • Leica’s first 4k ultra-short-throw laser projector
  • Built in collaboration with HiSense
  • The Leica Cine 1 can beam as little as six inches away from a wall
  • Two Cine 1 versions will be available: for 80-inch and for 100-inch screens
  • Both Leica laser TV models are using Leica lenses
  • The Leica Cine 1 will be available in Europe from Q2 2023

New Leica film camera rumored to be announced in October

I have been reporting for a while about a new Leica M film camera that will replace the current Leica MP model. The first rumors indicated a new “cheap” M film version, but I think it is safe to assume that the new camera will not be cheap.

A press event is already scheduled for October in Germany and I was told that invitations are sent out. I expect other new Leica products to be released at that event.

The new Leica M film camera is also already been tested by photographers in the field.
