I already mentioned on several occasions that the new Leica M11 camera is rumored to be announced in January 2022. Leica Store Los Angeles has already scheduled a “Special Unveiling Event” for Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm PST. The slogan of the even it “What makes a legend?”

Last month Leica Camera officially announced the Leica Q2 and Leica Q2 Monochrom “Reporter” cameras with Kevlar armoring and matte green finish, but so far only the Leica Q2 Reporter camera has been officially released. The second Leica Q2 Monochrom “Reporter” camera will be available in March 2022:

Light Lens Lab is working on a new 35mm f/2 eight-elements collapsible lens for Leica M-mount (pictured above). The new lens will be available in silver chrome, black paint, or chrome with nickel plating. There is no official release date yet (expected in 2022). Pricing will be similar to the “regular” Light Lens Lab 35mm f/2 eight-element lens (starting from around $1,600 depending on the finish).
