Leica M10-R camera confirmed to be announced in the next few months

Nokishita just confirmed that the previously rumored Leica M10-R camera will be announced within the next few months. There will be two available colors: black and silver. The new M10-R has the same radio certification as the new M10 Monochrom. Stay tuned for additional details.

New Voigtlander Nokton 21mm f/1.4 Aspherical VM lens for Leica M-mount announced

Voigtlander announced a new Nokton 21mm f/1.4 Aspherical VM lens for Leica M-mount. The suggested retail price in Japan excluding tax is ¥150,000 or around $1,300. The US price is not yet announced but the Sony version of this lens is priced at $1,099.

New Leica camera registered under code 9418 (Leica M10-R?)

There is a new Leica camera registered under the code 9418 with the Bluetooth certification agency:

I think there is some confusion since the Leica M10-R was registered under the code 6376 which is for the M10 Monochrom with the FCC – see the 6376 manual here (click for larger view):
