Leica Q Khaki limited edition camera announced

Today, Leica Camera announces the previously leaked Leica Q Khaki limited edition camera featuring real leather trim in khaki green. The new addition to the Leica Q family features the engraving of the classic Leica script on the top plate of the camera in matching khaki color and is also paired with a khaki green leather carrying strap (see the pictures at the bottom of this post).

The limited-edition Leica Q Khaki is available now at Leica Stores and Boutiques for $4,995.00 and is limited to 495 units worldwide:

The Leica 3952 could be the next D-Lux model based on the new Panasonic LX100 II

Some additional information on the already registered but not yet announced Leica “3952” camera –  this model could be the next D-Lux model according to the latest report from Japan:

  • Leica 3952 digital camera
  • Wi-Fi · Bluetooth 4.2 installed
  • AC adapter: ACA-DC16
  • USB × 1 (charge compatible) · HDMI × 1
  • The Leica 3952 is probably the new D-LUX because the AC adapter is the same as the C-LUX and the built-in radio has the same performance as the new Panasonic LX100 II 

I have updated the list of rumored/expected Leica cameras with the D-Lux entry.

The upcoming D-Lux will be based on the new Panasonic LX100 II (pictured above). Here is a specifications comparison between the old Panasonic LX100 with the new Panasonic LX100 II – the changes/upgrades are marked in red:
