It remains unclear what the current situation is regarding the canceled Leica M EV1 camera events in the US. There are several potential reasons for the cancellation:

• Trump tariffs
• US government shutdown (FCC approval for new devices?)
• AWS outage (the cancellation email from Leica was sent shortly after the blackout started)
• Technical difficulties with the Leica M EV1 camera (I seriously doubt that)

My personal guess is that on Thursday, October 23, the Leica M EV1 camera will be officially announed worldwide, except for the US. Stay tuned for updates.
