Two new Leica limited edition cameras were announced in Japan:
Leica X Maroon limited edition (50 cameras) to commemorate the opening of the new Leica Hankyu Umeda store. Read more on Leica Japan website.
Leica D-LUX Rolling Stone 100th Anniversary Edition camera will feature the label of 10 different musicians. The set includes an original print with the autograph of each musician (20 cameras per musician for a total of 200 units for this limited edition). Additional images:
Match Technical released a new EP-10S Titanium ThumbsUp for Leica M Typ 240 cameras. The EP-10S Titanium is available in black and silver and weights only 17 grams (vs. 30 grams for the brass model). The price is $225 (the brass model is $135).

Voigtländer 35mm f/1.7 Ultron VM Aspherical lens (for Leica M mount) that was announced during the last Photokina show will start shipping on August 27th. The US pricing is not yet announced, but eBay pre-orders are currently listed at $1,300 (update: the EU price is 650€, the US price will be $980). Here are the lens technical specifications:

Leica is rumored to announce a completely new camera system by the end of the year (most likely in September). The details are still sketchy, here are some of the tips I received:
This could be a new M camera with AF, EVF and ability of using manual focus M lenses – something based on the current Q and M cameras.
