Light Lens Lab 50mm f/1.5 “Z21” lens for Leica M-mount now available

Light Lens Lab officially released their new 50mm f/1.5 Z21 lens for Leica M-mount (previously reported here), based on the iconic Angenieux Type S21 50mm f/1.5. The lens can be purchased directly from the LLL website, eBay, or from PopFlash in the US.

Leica Noctilux M 35mm f/1.2 ASPH lens

A member of the Leica forum discovered that his photos were wrongly marked in the FOTOS app as taken with a “Noctilux-M 1:1.2/35 ASPH” lens:

I installed Firmware 2.2.2 into my Leica M11 and M11 Mono. Everything seemed to be working fine until I attached my 35mm Summicron-M f/2 V4. My Lens Detection on both cameras now read my 35mm version 4 Summicron as a “1.2 35mm” My f/2 doesn’t even have 6 bit coding. When I transfer a photo taken with my f/2 Summicron to the app FOTOS my photo lists my f/2 Summicron as a NOCTILUX-M 1:1.2/35 ASPH.

Leica reduces D-Lux 8 camera and Lux grip prices (+complete new price list included)

After the recent price increase in the US due to the new Trump tariffs, Leica reduced the prices of the D-Lux 8 camera and the Lux grip:

Leica D-Lux 8: went from $1,595 to $2,790 and is now down to $1,915
Leica Lux grip: went from $329 to $625 and is now down to $395
