Panasonic FZ1000 camera announced, could be the next V-Lux model

Few days ago Panasonic announced a new FZ1000 superzoom camera with 1″sensor, 4k video and 25-400mm f/2.8-4 lens that could be the base for the next V-Lux model (V-Lux 5, unless they change the name to Leica V type xxx).

Leica Store San Francisco to open on June 30th

The new Leica Store in San Francisco will open on June 30th, 2014. The exact address is 463 Bush St. (almost directly across from the Dragon Gate, the entrance to China town). As you look into the store, the products will be on the left side (roughly north) and the gallery will be on the right side (roughly south). Did Leica take the idea for the new T camera interface from AppCam?

Few days ago I received an email from AppCam where the founder Jürgen Habenstein claims that he presented the AppCam OS to Leica Camera, but the company was not interested in implementing their touchscreen OS solution (which at that stage I believe is just a prototype). Two years later, Leica announced their T mirrorless camera with a similar touchscreen interface. What do you guys think, does AppCam have a case here? Here is the full text of the email:
