Olive Leica M3 were designed for German army, started from 1957 with last batch produced in 1968, according to the official Leica list there are only 144 left. The one we have here is a single stroke M3 S/N: 12069xx, which would make it part of the July 1968 batch. The companion are three lens (Summaron 35mm f/2.8, Elmar 50mm f/3.5, Hektor 135mm f/4.5), a Leica meter MC & Booster, with Bundeswehreigentum (means Military property) engravings.

Leica D-Lux 5 in Photokina 2010?

The latest rumor from Japan is that Panasonic may skip the LX4 model and go directly for Lumix LX5 in the third quarter of 2010. This could mean that we may see a Leica D-Lux 5 in 2010 (Photokina?). Some of the suggested improvements are: OLED screen, auto lens cover, minor lens improvements.
