No surprise that they’re suddenly available. Who wants this old thing when there’s the new 50 Summicron ASPH?

    • EnPassant

I want both the old 50 mm summilux and summicron lenses!
The new ones are mostly such perfect they are boring!

B-b-but, it’s clearly obsolete now, isn’t it? Inferior technology and all that….

Leica lenses are plentiful these days, this listing availability was over an hour, the previous listing was a matter of minutes.

I will have another recap in the next few days.

Thanks a lot! I have missed this post.

High ISO samples look pretty amazing to me! A saw some 3200 that looked pretty good!

          ISO 3200 is high? lol

          • Joaquim Prado

For a leica is pretty high! Also people where pretty happy back in the days with the Tmax 3200. I am pretty sure this M9M would do a great job at 6400 judging by this images at 3200.

The silver Summilux in the picture above looks like the pre-ASPH E46 version.

    Black is gone too!

For those looking for the 50mm call your local dealers, the last time B&H had stock there was a supply at local dealers also. One dealer had a Noctilux also.
