Record number of entries for the Leica Oskar Barnack Award 2012

This year Leica Camera AG reported a record number of entries for the 2012 Oskar Barnack award – so far there are 2,800 submissions from 101 different countries compared to 2000 entries for last year. The winners will be announced on 20 June 2012.

New world record for the most expensive camera: 2,790,000 USD for Leica 0-Serie
