Leica event on September 17 in Cologne

Leica has scheduled an exclusive event in Cologne on September 17th, 2012 (the day before the start of the Photokina 2012 show). The expectations are for a new Leica M10S3, D-Lux 6, V-Lux 4 and maybe even a redesigned Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH and a new 28mm Summilux-M f/1.4.

Cool! I’ll be attending Photokina, and I wonder if there are details on where the event will be held, or it I may request an invitation for it?

    • The Fuji Guy

I’m flying in that day. Maybe I can sneak in.

  • Rick the Dick

You weren’t invited. They think you’re a joke much the way Nikon thinks you’re a joke.

…more like ” the key focus is on your wallet. ‘Das Geld’ “

    • Of course they want to get paid for the goods they produce. Otherwise the people they employ would be on the unemployment list. Is that preferable to you?

  • Good, I have been waiting for R10 for ages. 😉

  • Yes, Leica wants your money, not your attendance. The guests on this event did not pay for their Leica 😉
But this is probably the same for Nikon, Fuji and all the others.

  • S3 MAN

Hope the S3 is cheap !! LOL

As to the rumored (likely?) M10; it is rumored that Leica will have it at Photokina, but not to be ‘handled’ or as useable ‘samples/examples’ – supposedly. IF, that’s true, and all they have is what’s stated above – the M10 better be a real ‘whiz-banger’.

Cant wait to see in what direction they are heading with the M10!:-)

What are the odds they will go with the flow and name it MX and not M10
