Few days ago I mentioned about a new limited edition Leica Monochrom 'Ralph Gibson' camera that was announced in the Netherlands. Here is some additional information:

Transcontinenta, the importer of Leica in the Netherlands, announced in conjunction with Leica Store Lisse an exclusive limited edition Leica: the Leica M Monochrom "Ralph Gibson".

A special feature in the Leica M Monochrom "Ralph Gibson 'is the black leather upholstery in volcanic pattern, developed by Leica, and silver-plated top. The high quality leather is not only applied to the camera body, but is also used for the corresponding shoulder strap. In addition, this camera with accessories designed in close collaboration with Ralph Gibson himself. On the chrome top of the camera is the signature of Ralph Gibson as inscription. The Leica M Monochrom "Ralph Gibson 'features a Summilux-M 1:1.4 / 35mm ASPH lens, which features a silver-anodized chrome finish. First The Leica M Monochrom "Ralph Gibson 'set can be stored in a hand-finished Ralph Gibson camera, which is only available as part of this set. All this is offered in an exclusive gift box, along with a limited edition of the new book "MONO" by Ralph Gibson.

    If you have to ask “How Much?”, you probably can’t afford it 🙂 (Love my “standard” Monochrom which I am already shooting with my Summilux 35 so I guess I am already “there” sans the famous signature :-D)
