The Leica S (Typ 007) medium format camera has a new released date at B&H: August 31, 2015:

I also received some information that the price of the S Type 007 will drop before the official release (maybe the camera will be included in the ongoing 12% savings).

The Leica S (Typ 007) camera was initially announced during the Photokina show last year.

The previous Typ 006 model is now $8,000 off.
