7Artisans 28mm f/1.4 lens for Leica M-mount updates (double aspherical elements)


Here is a detailed sketch of the upcoming rangefinder-coupled 7Artisans 28mm f/1.4 lens for Leica M-mount:


The lens will have double aspherical glass elements. There is also already a placeholder for the new 28mm f/1.4 lens at www.7artisans.com:


The official announcement is expected by the end of the year. The price will probably be a few hundred dollars. For comparison, the Leica Summilux-M 28mm f/1.4 lens is priced at $6,595.
