Leica UK sent out an email indicating that soon you will be able to personalize your Leica camera (M9, M10, M240, M-P Typ 240, Q and Q-P):
“Soon you will be able to personalise your existing Leica M, Leica Q (Typ 116) or Leica Q-P with high end leathers in a wide range of different colours and textures. All leathers have been tested and are Leica certified. The personalisation service will be available for the Leica M9, M10, M240, M-P Typ 240, Q and Q-P.”
It is not clear if this service will be provided by Leica directly or by a third party.
Leica recently ended the à la carte program for the Leica MP, Leia M Typ 240 and Leica M Monochrome Typ 246 cameras.
A few months ago I reported a rumor that à la carte customization for the Leica M10 is coming soon – maybe this is it?
Leica M10 to M10-P upgrade program is already existing.
