Leica UK prices increase


Macfilos reported the details on the latest Leica UK price increase (see the current Leica prices at Reddotcameras and Park Camera):

  • Leica UK price increase on lenses and accessories is between 1.5% and 4.4%.
  • Leica C-Lux and V-Lux cameras are not part of this price increase.
  • Leica Q2 went up to £4,500 (the Q2 is now nearly 6% more expensive than it was in August). When the Leica Q was first introduced, it was priced under £3,000 – that is 50% price increase in 4 years!
  • Leica SL lenses also went up in price, for example: the 24-90mm Vario-Elmarit lens is now £4,050 (up 3.8%).
  • Other Leica lenses price increase: 2.4% on the 75mm Noctilux (now £10,500), 4.4% on the 50mm Noctilux (now £9,500), 3.8% on the 50mm Summarit (now £1,450), 2.8% on the 28mm Summilux (now £5,450), 1.5% on the 50mm Summilux (now £3,350).
