Design Focus: Half-cover “protection cases” that act as a premium companion, preserving the camera’s proportions and feel while adding minimal bulk. Emphasizes a natural extension of the body with a tight, precise fit (tolerances in tenths of a mm; remove any protective vinyl films for best results).
Weight & Slimness: Obsessed with minimal added weight – standard version (including grip) under 60g with a proprietary thin, strong baseplate design. Keeps camera height increase very low (e.g., M10 from 81mm to 83.5 mm). Aims for “barely noticeable” on the camera while improving grip and stability.
Materials:
- Exterior: High-quality full-grain top-layer European calfskin (e.g., Epsom/Togo from Haas or Weinheimer tanneries — suppliers to Hermès, Chanel, etc.).
