Thypoch will soon announce a new Ksana 35mm f/2 ASPH lens for Leica M-mount

Thypoch will soon announce the previously reported Ksana 35mm f/2 ASPH lens for Leica M-mount (check this link for pre-orders). Here is what we know so far:

  • Full-frame Leica M-mount
  • Optical construction: 8 elements in 5 groups (1 ASPH + 1 ED + 2 HRI)
  • 10-blade circular aperture
  • Minimum focus distance: 0.5m
  • Ultra-compact & lightweight: 27mm length (flange to front), approx. 198.6g
  • Epoch Coating ’84 (retro 1980s gold-purple flares & nostalgic rendering)
  • Crescent-shaped focus tab
  • Premium all-metal construction with vintage aesthetics
  • Available in black paint and silver finishes
  • Lens hood included
  • Named after a Sanskrit character describing the duration of sudden enlightenment – approximately 1/60s

Thypoch already has the Ksana 21mm f/3.5 ASPH lens (see previous coverage) in addition to several other lenses for M-mont (Thypoch lenses are sold at B&H Photo)
