
A quick update on the Leica TL2 and Visoflex issue: according to one of Leica’s testers the problem can be fixed with a firmware update that will probably be released as early as next week:

Some additional information on the Leica TL2 and Visoflex viewfinder issue I reported yesterday: “When using the Leica TL2 in combination with the external electronic viewfinder (Visoflex) a possible failure with the camera can occur. If this defect occurs, then it is no longer possible to use the camera.”

With the recent price drop of the SL Typ 601 camera, Leica updated their CCD sensor upgrade pricing for that model (the upgrade is available for Leica M9/M9-P/M-E/Monochrom cameras affected by the CCD sensor corrosion issue):
