The upcoming 23rd WestLicht Photographica Camera Auction that will take place on May 25th 2013 will have another interesting item up for auction: Alfred Eisenstaedt’s Leica camera (starting bid: EUR 12,000/ over $15,000) and his famous signed photograph “Kiss in Times Square” (starting bid: EUR 9,000/over $11,000):

Update: the camera sold for $7,100. The black Leica M9 used by Sylvester Stallone in the movie Expendables II is currently listed for sale on eBay. The camera comes with a 35mm f/2.5 Summarit lens, a manual signed by Sylvester Stallone and a DVD of the movie:

Two Leica M type 240 cameras are already listed on eBay. The first one is priced at $9,950.00 with zero bids, the second is currently at $8,100.00 with two bids (original price is $6,950.00).

Last month I mentioned about the upcoming Bonhams auction of this 1930 Leica Luxus I camera with 50mm f/3.5 Elmar lens and faux lizard skin body. The auction took place last week and the camera sold for £603,837 (around $968,000):
