
A quick update on the Voigtländer VM 10mm f/5.6 Hyper Wide Heliar aspherical lens for Leica M mount – it will start shipping on July 21, 2016. The lens is still not listed for sale at B&H.

I received a tip that the HandeVision IBERIT 24mm f/2.4 lens for Leica M mount will be announced at Photokina. The picture above is a prototype of the new lens with a special surface finish in silver matt that was recently spotted in Germany by a reader.

Several readers have asked me about the differences between the old and the new 2016 versions of the Leica Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH ($2,995) and Leica Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH ($4,095) lenses that were announced back in January.
