
Mike Amos from photobasecamp.com attended the LHSA meetings in Wetzlar last year and contacted me regarding some very interesting hints about upcoming Leica products:

Leica Camera Japan Co., Ltd. announced a new Leica 28mm f/5.6 Summaron-M black limited edition lens for the Japanese market. The lens has a matte black finish. Only 50 pieces will be available. The suggested retail price is 380,000 yen (around $3,300). The original Leica 28mm f/5.6 Summaron-M lens is available only in silver. Additional pictures:

Setadel Studios currently has an eBay listing for a Leica Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 AA silver chrome ASPH 11873 prototype lens with a price tag of $750,000.
