The giant “Fake Leica” sculpture inside the Leica LA store is valued at $1 million

Many celebrities attended the Leica Store and Gallery grand opening in Los Angeles last night. An interesting piece of information that was published in the press release: the giant “Fake Leica” sculpture by Liao Yibai located inside the store is valued at $1 million.

Leica Camera announces Leica Store and Gallery Los Angeles opening

The new Leica Store and Gallery in Los Angeles will be opening this week. Several different events are scheduled to celebrate the new location. Leica is expected to unveil also a new special edition camera on June 20th.

The new Adobe Lightroom 5 is now available for download

Adobe officially released Lightroom 5 that can be downloaded for $79 (upgrade) or $149 (full price). If you have purchased a new Leica camera that comes with Lightroom and have not registered your copy, you will most likely be able to download the new LR5 without additional cost (at least this was the case with LR4 last year.)

Evgenia Arbugaewa wins the 2013 Leica Oskar Barnack Award for her project Tiksi
