The new Leica Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH. lens for M-mount 2023 version will start shipping at the end of the month (November 30)

There was little talk online about the new 2023 version of the Leica Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH. lens for M-mount that was announced together with the M11-P:

The new Leica Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH. lens for M-mount comes with improved technical features reflecting the latest sensor technology and making the lens a good choice for future camera generations.
The closest focusing distance is extended from 70 to 40 centimeters.
The lens hood is a modern, round design and is directly integrated into the lens. It can now be screwed in or unscrewed with only a flick of the wrist at any time.
Inside the lens, 9 lenses in 6 groups provide for images that are extremely rich in contrast and detail. The focus ring can be adjusted in a remarkably quiet and smooth way.
Made in Germany.

A few months ago I wanted to trade up/sale some of my old Leica gear. I contacted several US stores and here are the quotes I got:

Here is my personal ranking based on the quotes I received (best on top):

MPB provided the lowest quote for the gear I had – they did not offer anything for some of my lenses. The best quote I got was from Leica Store Maimi – I even got an additional bonus on top since I decided to trade in my gear instead of selling everything for cash. Leica Miami was also the only store that was very particular in getting the original purchase receipts, papers, manuals, accessories, etc. for all the gear they purchase. Keep in mind that I did all this a few months ago and the prices could be different today.

So you bought a bunch of cheap Chinese lenses fro Leica M-mount, and now you want to sell them? Here are some quotes I got a few months ago:
