Several Leica L-mount APS-C lenses have been listed as discontinued at Camera Kitamura (Japan)

  • APO-MACRO-ELMARIT-TL 60 mm f/2.8 ASPH. (Silver in stock)
  • APO-VARIO-ELMAR-TL F3.5-4.5/55-135mm ASPH.
  • SUPER-VARIO-ELMAR-TL F3.5-4.5/11-23mm ASPH.
  • VARIO-ELMAR-TL F3.5-5.6/18-56mm ASPH.

In the US, most Leica TL lenses are available at B&H Photo, but Adorama does not have a single one in stock.

Leica MDa NASA replica camera with Noctilux 50mm f/1.2 lens expected to sell for $80k in the upcoming Wetzlar Camera Auction

The next Wetzlar Camera Auction will take place on October 8th, 2022 in Wetzlar. Among the many Leica cameras and lenses (see online catalog), there will also be a working replica of the Leica MDa NASA camera with a Noctilux 50mm f/1.2 lens – expected to sell for €60,000 – €80,000:

New Leica Q2 “Seal” limited edition camera rumored to be announced next week (September 21st)

Next week Leica is rumored to announce a new Q2 special edition camera to celebrate the artist and Leica fan Seal.

The new Leica Q2 “Seal” edition will be limited (I believe just 200 pieces). Each camera will have a unique look – it will carry the artist’s signature and lyrics from his songs will be imprinted on the camera and the special strap. The imprint design should look similar to the promotion image below:
