The previously rumored 100-400mm SL lens and 1.4x L-mount teleconverter should be announced very soon (probably this week).
The new Leica SL 100-400mm lens will be priced at $2,500 and will most likely be based on the Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS. The lens will be made in Japan.
The new 1.4x SL teleconverter will be priced at $999. Leica will introduce a second 2x SL teleconverter this summer with the next Japanese-made zoom lens.

The new and updated Kamerakraft LM10GRIP V2 grip for Leica M10 cameras is now in stock for both black and silver finish. This drop will be sold out quickly – only 20 pieces are available in black and 8 in silver.
Update – Kamerakraft grips are currently out of stock, but you can check the latest IDS Works modular grip for different Leica models.

LeicaRumors will be migrating to a new server this weekend (starting at 10 pm tonight EST). With the increased traffic and a large number of posts (almost 6,000 posts, 20,000 pictures, and over 45,00 comments), it is time to move to a server with a new generation of processors. In theory, the migration should be seamless – we will be using live migration technology that promises no downtime – it will just require a reboot (a downtime of about two to three minutes). Let’s hope that will be all.
