A “chargrilled” fire-damaged Leica M4 camera with a Summicron 50mm lens sold for £1,200 ($1,670) at a recent auction in the UK (the final price with fees was £1,488 0r $2,070). The camera belonged to photographer Jonathan Bloom and got damaged in a house fire:

Please support this Leica M camera model project on Lego Ideas

There have been several Lego-Leica projects in the past, but for some reason unknown to me, they all disappeared from the Internet – maybe it’s because of copyright/trademark issues? If you have any inside information on this story, please let me know because a while back I spent money and effort to create a new Lego-Leica camera I can sell in the online store and I did not get anywhere. I would love to come back and work on that project again. Here are some of my own prototypes:
