The Leica M10-P White Edition by Moritz Philip Recke (Facebook | Instagram):
The all-white design takes its cue from the extremely popular M8 White Edition released in 2009. This time, it’s even better.
So here it comes. After months of consideration and deep soul searching, the day has finally arrived. Ever since my last endeavour with rangefinder photography, I knew I would return to the Leica M System at some point. Little did I know that it would happen in white. And yet, here I am sharing my first in depth encounter with a marvellous piece of German engineering and product design, the Leica M10-P White Edition.
Even though I unpacked various Leica cameras before, it felt considerably different this time. It was almost a meditative process. It resembled the feeling from unboxing the first iPhone back in 2007. The process also incorporated an at the time unparalleled shopping experience at the Apple Store. The new Meister Camera Leica Store in Hamburg is also certainly one of its kind. It is the most impressive Leica Boutique in Germany. Also, it is reasonably close to my favourite sushi restaurant Matsumi, but that is another story.

I have a new product listed for sale in the LR online store: L’Artec camera grips for Leica M and Q cameras. The grips are available in several different colors. The price is $300 and includes free international shipping:
After making your purchase I will contact you to discuss the details (model, color, etc). L’Artec grips can also be customized with e.g. engravings, names, words, or numbers.

A quick review of the new Panasonic Lumix S 20-60mm f/3.5-5.6 lens for Leica L-mount by Thomas Walter (website) – a very versatile lens and a great enhancement to the L-mount system. A few sample photos are available here. The lens is already shipping in Germany (in the US pr-orders are open at Adorama and B&H).
Lumix S 20-60mm F3.5-5.6 L-Mount – first experience
The last days I could test a production example of Panasonic’s new Lumix S 20-60mm F3.5-5.6 on both SL bodies.
This new lens is a very versatile “walk-around” lens. In my eyes, 20-60mm is a very useful range. And most important: lens weight is only 350g – the SL moves to a small, light, and very handsome camera in combination with this lens.
AF is very fast and absolutely silent. L-mount works flawlessly, you can even use the mechanic AF/MF button on the lens to control autofocus on the SL.
Handling
Maybe the most important point: the combination SL2 (and SL 601 too) with Pana’s 20-60mm is absolute good operable – like it’s a new camera
