Irix Cine lenses now available for Leica L-mount

Today Irix announced that their Cine lenses will be available also for Leica L-mount. The new L-mount lenses are already available for sale at the official Irix USA website and should be listed soon at Adorama, B&H, Amazon, and in Europe at Amazon UK, Amazon DE, Amazon FR, Amazon IT.

The only Leica Q/Q2 camera competitor, the Zeiss ZX1, is now available for pre-order for… $6,000:

The price broke all previous expectations and predictions and unless I am missing something, I don’t see how the ZX1 is a $1,000 better camera compared to the Leica Q2 (priced at $5,000), but then again, I am just a Leica fanboy. Previous coverage of the Zeiss ZX1 camera can be found here and here.
