The TTartisan AF 40mm f/2 full-frame lens is now also available for L-mount: Amazon | TTartisan | Pergear (additional information).

→ The Kase 85mm f/1.4 autofocus lens is now available for Leica L mount (additional information).

→ Schneider Kreuznach × LK Samyang will release L-mount versions of the AF 14-24mm f/2.8 and AF 24-60mm f/2.8 lenses.

New Leica Q3 Monochrom camera to be announced next month (October 2025)

A new Leica Q3 Monochrom camera is rumored to be announced next month (October 2025). Most likely, this will be a 28mm lens version, but we could also see a 43mm Monochrom version later (maybe in 2026). I believe Leica will release both focal lengths for the Monochrom line.

There will be multiple Leica announcements in October. Stay tuned for updates. If you have any information about upcoming products, please feel free to contact me anonymously here.

Xiaomi and Leica Camera AG announced the Xiaomi 15T series smartphones with “Leica Street Photography Mode” and 5x Summilux lenses

Panasonic announced a new Lumix S 100-500mm f/5-7.1 O.I.S. lens for L-Mount

Panasonic announced a new Lumix S 100-500mm f/5-7.1 O.I.S. lens for L-Mount. With teleconverters attached, this lens can be extended to 1000mm. The new tech inside includes Panasonic’s debut Tight-Smooth Ring and 7-stop Dual I.S. 2 stabilisation support. The new lens also features a dual-phase linear motor, delivering fast and silent autofocus.
